Blog #4- Detective Jackie on the case
Rushing from London Street to Van Winkle Street, and finally, onto W. Water Way, Jackie stood in front of the police station reevaluating her plan to assist with the murder case. After minutes of debating and getting tired of hearing the frogs chirping around the town, she opened the door into the police station and saw two teenage girls sitting in what seemed as the waiting area — one girl, in particular, who looked extremely uncomfortable. She kept squirming as if she was hiding something. Jackie was suspicious and wondered if she had to do anything with Mr.Evan's case.
Jackie went up to the man sitting at the desk, and said, "Hello Sir, I was good friends with Mr.Evans, and I was wondering if I can help in any way to help solve the case? He was very important to me." The police officer then said, "We would love for you to help!" and then handed Jackie a sheet of paper, "please fill out this form so we can contact you and vice versa." Jackie took the paper and sat next to the suspicious looking girl and said, "hello." She looked at the ground and said hello back softly, and then a young, police officer yelled, "Regan Reed," and she got up and left quickly.
Jackie picked up the form and began to fill it out in a black pen, Name: Jackie Redford, Address: The Foxberry, Apt. 207, Height: 5'3, Eye Color: brown, and lastly, Phone Number: 890-456-1230. She got up and returned the form to the polite police officer, and he said, "If we have any new information we will let you know ASAP!" Jackie responded with, "Thank you! Have a great day." And, she walked out of the police station satisfied with her experience.
