Blog #5- THE Infestation Investigaion

   It was around 11:30 p.m and Jackie couldn't sleep. Her head was itching, both physically and mentally. Lice was spreading around Colombia High, and Jackie sadly became one of their victims. So, she spent all of Thursday putting mayonnaise and combing her hair one by one; however, her head still felt as itchy as the morning. Mentally, the thought of her appearance at the police station kept popping into her mind. Was it the right decision? Was it too much? Then suddenly, Jackie heard a "bringgg, bringgg" coming from outside of her bedroom. She got up quickly and went to the kitchen where the phone on the wall that only wrung when her brother called. Jackie picked up the phone and softly said, "hello?" It was silent for a moment before the other side of the line said, "Hello Jackie. I know that you were good friends with Mr.Evans, and I also know you want to be involved with the investigation. Meet me in the plant tonight because I am leaving town tomorrow." Jackie was skeptical; however, she felt that this was a sign for her to keep being involved in Mr.Evan's investigation. She then began to reply with, "I will meet you, but how will I know if this isn't a scam?" The other side answered with, "Mr. Evans was important to me and to find his murderer is vital. They need to be in jail. Meet me in 30 minutes. The code is 2934", and then they hung up the phone.
    Jackie tied her mayonnaise hair back into a braid, put her UGG boots on, and left the Foxberry to meet this mysterious individual. Once she arrived to the power plant, Jackie came across the lock pad and typed the number 2934, and the door opened. There were about five other people who were in the plant; one was a student who went to Colombia High School that Jackie recognized but didn't remember her name. After a couple of seconds of staring at one another, Jackie asks, "what are you guys doing here?" Then the all reply at once, "the same thing as you. We want answers about Mr.Evans."
